A space enthusiast in Nepal filmed the Harvest Supermoon by putting his mobile phone to the viewfinder of his telescope.

Amartya Mishra said he often captured the skies from Nepal’s capital city, Kathmandu.

The Moon was also seen from Colorado, in the US.

For a moon to be classed as a supermoon it must be seen in full, when the Moon is at its closest to the Earth.
