Alan Cumming: ‘A Strange Loop is a cultural tilt’

Award winning actor Alan Cumming is aiming for a West End transfer with A Strange Loop, currently playing at the Barbican Theatre in London.

The show tells the story of Usher, a black gay man writing a musical about a black gay man. It explores race, identity and sexuality.

BBC London’s Wendy Hurrell went to meet the new star, Londoner Kyle Birch, and producer Alan Cumming.
